Well, I've though about it…

…and I think I'm gonna stick with C and C++ as my first programming languages. I may regret this, who knows. I already have a compiler for them and I don't for any other language. If someone has some detailed recommendations and suggestions on how to best get started with something else, I am more than interested to hear your input.
