It's over, it's finally over.

Another Christmas has come and gone. The holiday season as a whole is nearly over. I am glad to be rid of it. There's been some trouble at work, so xmas wasn't very joyful. I got some ok gifts, but I'm not a big holiday person, so I wasn't too thrilled about going around seeing all the family and junk. That's really about it.

I received more information regarding…

…the termination of the officers of Wal-mart. Apparently not only did they violate Wal-Mart's gratuity policy, and acted in a way unbecoming of such positions, they acquired the strippers south of the border and proceeded to bring them back across with them. Tsk Tsk Tsk. I think I'm gonna apply for Jim Haworth's job.

Looks like…

…some Wally World Exec's and other associates got fired for "misconduct." If the rumor holds true, they accepted various free alcohol and firearm products from vendors (which is a company no-no) and were also caught with strippers, which is apparently is also a no-no when you are a company officer.

…then he's got another thing coming. My manager seems to think that he's gonna get away with having me work till 8pm on New Years Eve and then come in at 7am New Years Day. Like hell. This is my first New Years since I've turned 21, and ain't nothing going to stop me from going out and having a hell of a time.

Another long day

I worked from noon to midnight today, that was interesting. I finally decided how I was going to handle the people that aren't taking my position seriously, I'm sending them home early. I'll hit them where it hurts, the paycheck.

I'm sitting here broed, and wide awake. I need to get some damn sleep, gotta be up at 6:30am to have megan's car towed to the mechanic and get fixed, then I gotta drive down to Paoli.

Good Moods

I'm in a pretty good mood tonight. I had a good day at work, things went smooth for a change. Helped Esther out in bakery. She's the bakery assistant manager, and quite possibly one of the most attractive managers I've seen at Wal-Mart. *wink wink* Real nice woman though, she was frstrated cause she had to work a long shift and her poor dogs were locked in her apartment. I tried to give her a helping hand where I could, to help her get out of there as fast as possible.

I'm off work tomorrow, so I think I'll stay up late tonight. Maybe play some M:tGO later.

Speaking of, played that earlier and won one and lost one. I was pleased though.

One of my associates was giving me some serious flack yesterday over when he should take his breaks, and then became a meal violation (Indiana law specifies when you have to take a meal break). I finally just went to upper management, so now he's getting coached today for his actions/inactions. Then later last night, an associate showed up 3 hours late, didn't call in, didn't let me know he'd finally arrived, and still hadn't clocked in. I was so livid, I had to have the Bakery Manager deal with him, for fear of my losing my cool. I gave my 2 cents worth that he should be coached today as well.

Well, so much time has passed

that I can't remember everything I should blog about. I've been busy mainly at work with some really weird scheduling. What time I'm not at work, I'm usually playing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004. I love that game.
