Last blog for the night. Something in me wanted me to blog again, this is becoming a habit. Oh well. this blog will be slightly technical in nature.
Working on Project Cobalt, needing a graphics designer, sound editor, and at least one fellow coder. I've got the basis of the coding schematic I want to use and I have an idea what type of storyline generalization I want to implement. I think using the GM's local/global system and then registering it and modifying resources on the fly....I've got an idea regarding integrating an IRC interface into the game allowing the game to connect to an IRC server for it's chat functions, allowing people who aren't actively playing to chat along with the players. This eliminates the need of a private server for the chat function, I'm definitely thinking multiplayer on this one. Gonna use a newer movement system based off the good ol' fashioned FPS using keypad movement, considering keybinding customization, but still hesitant about increasing the code size. Maybe i'll post somewhere the need for people to help with the game, won't need most till a little farther along. They'd have to be Indy area people with comparable scheduling.
